Maths is fun in 5S

This week 5S have been learning in Maths how to select and use appropriate units and devices to measure lengths and distances, calculate perimeters, and convert units of length. On Tuesday we were estimating various distances in the back playground, such as the distance between football posts and how far it was between basketball hoops, as well as the perimeter around the play equipment and the entire back playground. We had lots of fun using trundle wheels to check our estimations.
