Teamwork and leadership in 1K

1K students work in groups to rotate through many activities each day. Sometimes the group has an adult leader and, at other times, the students are responsible for setting up the activity, leading the group to complete their activity and packing up afterwards. The leader of the group changes each day so every student takes responsibility throughout the week. Leadership roles encourage every student to show teamwork, fairness, responsibility and kindness to others. These, along with a positive mindset, are some of the strengths we are focusing on at school.
