Some of the students attending REP lessons have been reading a story that has interesting items they have never heard of. This included learning about postcards and disposable cameras with film, which gave students the opportunity to increase their vocabulary and make connections.
Other students have been reading a non-fiction book, learning about living and growing things. They read about the life cycle of butterflies, the life span of different living things and about growing up, which also allowed students to build on their vocabulary and relate it to the real world.
