Chess Club

Singleton Heights Public School has a vibrant and active Chess Club. Students from kinder to Year 6 are welcome to participate in the many opportunities to extend their skills in the game. The Chess Coordinators this year are Mr Orr and Miss Lewis.


When is Chess Club?

The Chess Club meets at first-half lunch every day in Mr Orr's classroom. All students are welcome, from beginners to more experienced players. There is a 'Chess Games Won' record card for competitive students to record their wins.

Upcoming competitions

Students will have the opportunity to participate in chess competitions throughout the year. These will be advertised in the school's newsletter.
